VoiceWell 0.4 is a working local beta on the development Mac. This website does not offer an unfinished or development-signed build as a production-ready download.

What works today

• Local RNNoise cleanup, speech-aware Auto Level, compression and peak protection.
• Native app window, menu-bar controls, input/output meters, explicit Start/Stop and bypass.
• Processed delivery through separately installed BlackHole 2ch, verified with an independent local receiver.
• Opt-in preferred/fallback microphone switching, including app-only simulated disconnect/wake tests.

What still needs release validation

• Developer ID distribution signing, notarization, ticket stapling and clean-Mac Gatekeeper testing.
• A controlled secure-updater test and an approved public artifact/update host.
• New-distance/overlap listening and wider physical device/Mac testing.

The release checklist is being worked through; nothing on this page is a claim that those remaining steps have passed. Any public download will be explicitly announced here after approval.
